Welcome, come join us in Gothenburg in the spring time! Swingin’ Spring will happen in May 2012, and we hope you will come and share the joy with us.

Registration is now open! (Single lead dances will be prioritized to even the groups out.)

We have the great pleasure of offering some of the very best, in teachers, DJs, and live bands. As usual, we will offer three nights of social dancing, along with two days of classes. (Or, for those of you who can, take the opportunity to stick around, relax after a busy weekend, and join our weekly Monday dance as well…)

News in the 2012 edition

For those of you who have been to Swingin’ Spring before, there are some news compared to previous editions.

There will be three teacher-couples teaching on four levels, from beginner intermediate to advanced level. Previous years we have seen five techer-couples and five levels. (This means there will be no pure beginners level this year, and the advanced level is the highest level.)

There will be a total of 7,5hrs of  classes (compared to 10hrs previous years) Each group will see each teacher-couple the same amount of time. However, on top of this, there will be some exciting taster classes, more info about what and who soon!

We will offer a limited number of parties-only passes. Registration for this will open during the month of February.

The awesome bands

• Friday night: Gentlemen & Gangsters
• Saturday night: Betty blue and the boat gig crew
• Sunday tea dance: Rallarswing

Our own House-DJs will be there of course (possibly with some friends…).

Parties & details

The parties will be vintage-themed, accompanied by the best wooden floor in Gothenburg.
There will be a Vintage Swap Market – hand in your precious vintage finds and get bargains from your fellow dancers!

We will offer accommodation with a local dancer to as many visitors as we can, please specify when you register if you are interested in this option.
