Vi letar efter nya balboaledare!
Är du passionerad och nördig kring balboa och längtar efter att få dela med dig av den passionen till andra genom att hålla kurs i balboa på WCJ? Då är du välkommen att söka!
Såhär går antagningen till: Du kommer få dansa med några av oss balboaledare och så blir det en liten intervju där vi pratar om hur du ser på dansen i stort och om att lära ut dans. Du kommer också få lära ut ett kort moment till en liten grupp av oss ledare (mer information om detta skickar vi ut till de som anmäler intresse).
Datum: Söndag 17/11 på Forum (du kommer få en specifik tid när det närmar sig och vi ser hur många som söker)
De nya ledare som tas in kommer att bli tilldelade en balboaledarmentor som redan håller kurs i balboa, som de kommer hålla sin/ sina första kurs(er) med. Det är viktigt för oss i ledargruppen att de nya ledare som tas in får en mentor direkt och blir väl omhändertagna. Därför kommer vi bara kunna ta in ett begränsat antal nya ledare och det kan hända att vi inte har plats för alla som söker som skulle passa för ledarrollen.
Anmäl intresse för antagning genom att fylla i formuläret nedan senast 30/10. Formuläret innehåller några frågor om dig och dina tankar om dans, men vi baserar inte vårt beslut på det du skriver, utan det är dansen och intervjun som är det viktiga.

We’re looking for new balboa teachers!
Are you passionate and nerdy about balboa and are longing to share that passion with others through teaching balboa at WCJ? Then we invite you to apply!
Here’s how the audition will work: You will dance with a few of the balboa teachers, and we will have an interview where we talk about your thoughts around the dance and teaching dance. You will also be asked to teach a short bit to a small group of balboa teachers (more information about this will be sent to those who apply).
Date: Sunday, Nov 11th at Forum (you will get a slot when we get closer to the date and we have an idea of how many will apply)
The new teachers will be assigned a balboa teacher mentor (someone who’s already teaching balboa), with whom they will teach their first course or courses. It’s important to us in the teacher group that the new teachers will get a mentor right away and be taken care of. Because of this, we can only take on a limited number of new teachers, and it’s possible that we won’t have space for everyone who would be a good fit.
Apply by filling out the form below by October 30th at the latest. The form contains a few questions about you and your thoughts around dance, but we won’t base our decision on your answers; it’s the dancing and the interview that count.
